Substantial, well formatted Sci Fi Collection,. A bargain!! Oct 12, 2009
By Richard Askenase This collection of short novels and stories was a very well formatted set. A linked Table of Contents made it very easy to find your way through this massive book. A VERY large collection and a terrific bargain. No typos or formatting issues. If you like classic pulp fiction, especially Edgar Rice Burroughs, this is great starting point.

Not the " Ultimate" Apr 18, 2010
By merwinna This collection is okay if one is fond of Burroughs. There are ten of his works in it and two Wells. There is one Norton, and one Jules Verne. These are works from early science fiction, and, as such, have an antiquated feel to them. One can almost smell the dry, dusty scent of the paper on which they were originally printed. They were fine stories in there day, But that was just too long ago. There are too many names from the second half of the 20th century to call it an "ultimate"collection. 8If you are interested in the roots of science fiction, by all means, buy this book, but, without, Asimov, Bloch, Anderson, Van Vogt, or any of the luminaries of the century, do not think of this as the @ultimate" collection of science fiction.

By Jayson All Burroughs, & NO TABLE OF CONTENTS?
Surely, anyone loving sci-fi and apprecative of
normal anthology form could do better! I wasted my $2.00.
