Interesting premise. Clumsy execution. Sep 24, 2010
By F.T. Castro I'm a huge fan of end-of-the-world stories. I swallowed World War Z. Liked Cell by King. Generally speaking I love mythology driven stories. I guess thats why I bought this book. Interesting but not terribly original premise (seen it before). I'm not a grammar buff (as u can see)but the writing style in the story needs help. STILTED is the best I can describe it. Description here is driven into the ground then beaten till it can't feel feelings anymore. If the author had developed a bit more as a writer then the story would've been enjoyable. love the cover art though.

Less than 1 star if I could Aug 30, 2010

I'm a sucker for apocalyptic type books. However, I probably shouldn't have have been so quick to purchse this particular apocalyptic book. I haven't done this before, review a book online. I really avoid editorilizing online as a whole. However, I'm motivated by the fact I paid over eight dollars for this book and in addition it has a five star rating. 5 Stars. WTF? This book was poorly written, cardboard characters, meadering plot, cluttered action sequence, and overall bad editing. I could copy and paste passages showing poor grammer details, but it's just not worth my time.
This book read like something from a high school paper or amatuer submissions. To pay this amount of money for such work seems almost criminal to me. It certainly makes me doubt future purchases through Amazon given such poor quality control as to let this book be sold for Kindle online.

Divine Apocalpse gets five armageddon out of five Mar 25, 2010

I know the end of the world thing has been done a million times before. But you have not seen it within the eyes of of the young and promising writer Lavon Gittens. As you read it begins like any other the end world is near and its up to our four brave heros to save the day. Now what caught my eye was story's unique take on characters. Instead of the boring hero and villain stereotypes we have a diverse class of arcehetypes, unique story and demon. As you read you see the world go up side down in world of crazy of people trying to destory the world in their own way. He even bring his own twist on history which be very interest if you do the research. Why give this book a 5 out 5 is simply because finally someone brought a mordern and realastic version of the apocalpse.
