One 1 hour treatment got the results of 3 consecutive ALL NIGHT treatments with my dentist's 12% solution! As other reviewers of this product have noted, you have to be careful with the solution as it can burn the inside of our lips and gums. Putting vaseline on does help. If you do have burning, give it a couple of days to heal. I also wad up a paper towel and put it in my mouth between my teeth and gently bite down to keep my trays in place so the gel stays on my teeth. If you keep it off the interior of your mouth and don't use too much so it does not overflow, there is just a mild sting and it subsides after a few minutes. You can feel it bubbling on your teeth. Got this particular set with the 2 tubes of the bleach and 2 tubes of re-mineralizing treatment and as others noted, you will need to order more re-mineralizer if you use it after each treatment. So far, I have gotten about 6 treatments from the 1st bleaching tube and there is still enough in the tube for 1 or 2 more and I have large teeth. I only got 3 treatments from my dentist's tubes. Again, as others noted, one of the great things is it does NOT make your teeth sensitive. With 3 treatments of my dentist's solution, I had to stop using for a couple of weeks as my teeth became so sensitive even using a toothpaste to help with the sensitivity. So, I never achieved the whiteness I was trying to reach. I've never seen my teeth so white after about 6 treatments and my teeth have always been pretty yellow. My first tube had an area that seemed a bit thick and hardened and I followed the directions to add a little water to the solution and let it sit and soak in to re-soften it. It states that it does stop the potentcy and it seems to be true as I have used this portion and it still bubbled and whitened. After 3 initial 1 hour consecutive day treatments, I gave it a rest for a few days and now am spacing it to every other day. So far, so good. Has only been less than 2 weeks. Looking forward to the results after a month of use. Then, I think I will go on a once a week maintenance. Priced at half the cost of my dentist's product with twice as much solution.

If you already have trays, I would recommend getting the double set gel refills instead since only one set is just enough for your upper or lower teeth. At first, the whitening gel does sting gums a little but not painfully. I think the mineralizing gel does help reduce teeth sensitivity and also help restore gums. The trays are okay to use but could be improved.
I was concerned about tooth sensitivity using whiteners, but decided to try Watts Power White on my upper teeth. After about three weeks using nearly the entire tube for about 45 minutes and 3 times per week, my upper teeth are noticeably whiter than my lower teeth by about three shades. My cainine teeth were also slightly discolored from other front teeth, but now they are about the same shade.
Now people notice that my smile is brighter. I would describe my teeth as pearly white but not superstar white as shown. I'm working on my lower teeth and will see if I can get superstar white teeth although they may have reached their limit.

I have tried numerous other whiteners for teeth. This one is the best I've tried. You only need a small amount and I saw immediate results. My teeth were not terribly stained, just dull from coffee. This product whitened them up beautifully! A product that does what it is supposed to do for a very reasonable price!

This is the best tooth whitener that I have found. I've tried a lot and I got, by far, the best whitening from it.
I also want to point out that my roommate used this as well. Same batch, same length of time. She got almost no whitening from the first 2 treatments. I got about 4 shades of whitening just from the first. We both had stains from smoking and the normal yellowing from age (40s).
Clearly there are factors (probably genetic) which limit the results for some people. In my opinion, this is not the fault of the product. I'm guessing the people leaving negative reviews are similar to my roommate.
We are going to continue weekly whitenings with my roommate to see if later applications will solve the problem for her. I should note that she has not had any dental work or cleaning in over a decade, and she does not brush or take care of her teeth as well as I do. This may be a factor.
